If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know I speak a lot about organization and living a more simple life. You can take it to a deeper level. How? By simplifying.
When you simplify your home and life, you clear out all the junk and extra stuff that’s just not needed. Things like clothes you haven’t worn in more than a year or pens that don’t write anymore or old greeting cards that don’t have sentimental value anymore.
When I started researching how I could simplify things, I came across Emily Ley. If you don’t know who this woman is, you need to look her up. She is a wife, a mother, a designer and a woman that found out how to simplify her life and now she shares what she found with the world. In 2019, I will be included in that group of people and will have a much simpler life.
I will be taking on her Simplicity Challenge, which you can find this on her website. When I first read through the Challenge, I noticed not everything was about cleaning and purging. Some of the tasks in the Challenge are about simplifying your lifestyle.
Why am I sharing this even before I’ve done the challenge? Because I want to challenge you to do this with me. It’s a perfect time to do it too! You’re starting the last quarter of 2018 and taking on this challenge will help you start 2019 with a clean slate. Each day on my Instagram, I’ll be sharing a story about that day’s challenge. How much of a challenge it was? How much fun it was? Did I find it freeing? I want you to join me in this challenge and chime in with your thoughts.
So what do you say? Are you ready to take on the Challenge?
