Simplify Your Life

UPDATED 03/03/2025

If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know I speak a lot about organization. But did you know you can take it to a deeper level by simplifying.

When you simplify your life, you clear out all the junk and extra stuff that’s just not needed. Things like clothes you haven’t worn in years, pens that don’t write anymore, or greeting cards that have no sentimental value. There are so many ways to do this so I started researching. Then, I came across Emily Ley. If you don’t know who this woman is, you need to look her up. She is a wife, a mother, a designer, and a woman that found out how to simplify her life. Now she shares what she found with the world. She even runs the Simplicity Challenge and you can get her eBook for free here.

In 2019, I took on this challenge and I’m so glad I did. When I first read through the Challenge, I noticed not everything was about cleaning and purging. Some of the tasks in the Challenge are about simplifying your lifestyle. Yes! It’s not just about the stuff you have physically around you. It’s about YOU too!

Why am I sharing this even before I’ve done the challenge? Because I want you to do this with me. Anytime is a perfect time to do it too! When I originally wrote this, it was the last quarter of 2018. Taking on this challenge helped me start 2019 with a clean slate. So what do you say?  Are you ready to take on the Simplicity Challenge?
