Pajama Day?

UPDATED 02/09/2025

Today, I stayed in my pajamas. All day. It was an all day pajama day. And guess what?! I’m totally cool with it. Aren’t you just a little curious? Ok, I’m going to share all my secrets!

First and foremost, I get a ton of stuff done when I have a pajama day. I start my day with breakfast, then do some research for upcoming blogs or Live videos I’m planning. Afterward, I spend the day with my husband and dogs. Even if that means sitting on the couch watching football. And all the while, I’m resting.

Rest is emphatically a part of having a healthy lifestyle. I’m a big believer that you can rest and get things done at the same time. The way my life is going, I know it’s never going to be stress free. But I can stress less and manage my stress easier with a pajama day. I started practice years ago and I want you consider doing it too.

Here’s what’s you need to do. Decide you want a lifestyle change. It’s as simple as that. Once you make that decision, you can have less stress in your life, feel more rested, and make your life work for you. Not the other way around.

The next thing you need to do is make having a pajama day at habit. Do this once every two weeks, if not every week. Schedule it in your planner and stick to it. You can even get your family involved so they do it with you. Soon enough, it will become your norm.

The last thing you need to do is sit back and relax. Be proud of your decision and enjoy your life. And of course, your new pajama day.
