When you’re feeling stressed out, life can feel like it’s caving in on you. Almost like like the world is out to get you. But there are ways of coping with the stress…
One of the things I use to manage my stress levels is movement. I don’t like calling it exercise, because that word has a negative connotation to it. But regardless, when I don’t move my body, I notice my mental health deteriorating. When I get stressed, I slack on the exercise and boy, do I notice! In times like those, I need to force myself to move.
How do you handle the periods of feeling stressed out?
First and foremost, you need to acknowledge it. When you’re in. it, you might feel like you’re in a movie. The suspense of what’s coming next seems like it will almost make you croak because things are not happening fast enough. But remember, stress is inevitable and the period will pass.
The next thing you need to focus on is your self-care. Every single day, do one thing for yourself. Yes, just one. It could be making sure you eat right or taking a CBD bath with. agood book. Pay attention to those moments and how you feel when you’re in them.

Make sure you get back on track!
The biggest culprit of stress is time. If you allow it to linger, it will. So try to control some aspect of the time you have available to you. Focus on those because that semblance of control will help you get back to YOU quicker. And when in doubt, reach out. Ask the people around you for support. The real lifers will be there for you.
