The Foundations of MVA

The Mindful Virtual Assistant was born after years of pouring my heart and soul into a career that left me unfulfilled. I took my corporate skills, yearn for continuous education, and can-do attitude and made the leap to working with small businesses. It didn’t take long for me to see how overwhelmed most small business owners are. Often, they’re juggling countless tasks, all alone, and can feel like they’re on a never-ending hamster wheel.

I created MVA to provide assistance to small business owners that are seeking thoughtful, efficient support that helps them save time, increase productivity and focus on what truly matters – living more and working less.

After more than a decade in the corporate world, I understand the weight that constant exhaustion puts on a person. I have navigated the challenges brought on by ADHD and anxiety and have experienced burnout multiple times. Each time, I learned how to handle the struggles and get over the hurdles faster. My job as your virtual assistant is to help you sidestep these hurdles and bring a sense of clarity and renewed energy to your business.

As a former life coach, I bring a sense of mindfulness to our work together. I understand that “all things cannot be done in one day”, even if we want them to be. And I have learned that hustle culture has it all wrong. In order to do great work, you need to take care of yourself FIRST!
